The military government is willing to take aid from any country but wants to control how that aid is distributed. The problem is that the military government doesn't appear capable of disaster management. And, latest word is that the military is distributing stale food to the people and keeping the emergency supplies. Another allegation is that the military is charging money to people who want food rations. If true, what a despicable military government in Myanmar!

Agreed, McCain. The US does help countries other than the oil rich ones. The Bush administration has its many faults but it has done much in Africa and donated much after the tsunami.
