the seats look like first class seats.

@CaptAviator well, I'm just starting out in the industry myself, I was just pointing out that it is disgraceful that I am getting paid more in a little king air than guys are getting paid in ATR's ERJ's, and CRJ's. Who said I do not actually fly the aircraft (our AOC requires 2 crew, same for our twin otters) Captian flies first leg and FO second and so on. I do fly the aircraft, putting the plane in on 3000' gravel strips is not for the faint of heart, no radar coverage so flying true IFR.
-
@ryno200 Let me get this straight: You are sitting in the right seat of an aircraft that only requires ONE pilot and have the nerve to act all high and mighty? Really? Go fly an airplane that actually NEEDS for you to be there first, then you can talk all the smack you want. Have fun playing with the gear handle all day...

@autopilotIMELd That is very unnerving that the FO does not possess an ATPL I would have thought it would be nessecary to actually have experience before you fly for a regional (get some multi-turbine time at a smaller charter company). Interesting how you just mentioned Captain pay, and even at that our King Air captains start at 74K, care to mention what F/Os start at or are you too embarassed? You may not be the lowest paid regional but regional pay in the US is a slap in the face at best.
-
@ryno200 I am not sure why you are comparing Canadian operations to the United States. You say you're getting paid "industry standard" to justify what you make. Well I am getting paid industry standard here too. We are not the lowest paid regional. We rank among some of the highest paid. As I said your figures are way off. Our Captains start at 74k and top out above 100k. As far as licenses, in the US only the Captain is required to have an ATP. The FO can posses a Commercial.

I noticed they don't pack you in like sardines like Jazz, you have 3 abreast seating instead of 4.
-
@autopilotIMELd you're not getting paid what crews flying 705 ops should get paid, I mean I'm flying right seat in a Be20 (Super KingAir) in Canada and paid 41K a year and that is industry standard here. You guys are getting reamed big time. On another note is it true that you guys actually allow guys without ATPL's and minimum of 1500hours total time fly your rigs?
-
@ryno200 You don't know what you're talking about. Your numbers are off. None of us are getting rich by any means, but we definitely do not rank at the bottom of the industry pay scale.
This flight attendant is actually a very good one...I know her personally and I'm not very fond of the jerk who made the racist comment about her. You know who you are @risewiththelive1. It just shows that your brain is up you A**
