I really love the opening theme music--very beautiful and of course the movie's a total classic.

These movies are great and stand the test of time because the writing, acting and directing are flawless, cunning and work together to overcome (or cleverly circumvent) the severe censorship in place at the time. Lana Turner accomplished with a 'look, a lipstick and white tap shorts' what today's so-called hotties can't come near if they stood stark naked in Grand Central Station at rush hour.
