it also means that sometimes when one has a tendency to fall, the fall does not happen all at once. Sometimes the fall takes a while, especially if you are not spiritually aware or just want to turn away from Christ. We continually have to be aware of what is going on around us or great will be the fall if and when it happens...trust me, been there, done that and praise the Lord that He will give us a second chance. I also see it every day at the homeless and recovery ministry our church runs.
