It really is frustrating, but you simply can't use reason to convince somebody whose life philosophy is based on the denial of reason in favor of faith. We'll just have to hope that education will allow at least some of their children to wisen up.

Well they don't actually have to deal with reality if they use the "faith" excuse, but then no one will take them seriously.

Yep, but then they have to deal with the harsh reality of "faith" being inadequate to explain all the other things that point the other way.
Theist are just people getting run over by a backing truck, because they think the truck is moving away from them.

and for the record, we didn't evolve from monkeys. all primates, including ourselves and 'monkeys' share a common ancestor. our genes and opposable thumbs tell us so.
