The "pak sao" doesnt work because he is chasing the hand rather than occupying space.

pak sao does not work for robert because pak sao should in a angle

Ok, I've just watched sifupr's video about how pak sau works as a block. Paking at the elbow is indeed way more effective but I still prefer using it as a bridging technique.

The title of your video should've been "Why pak sau doesn't work as a block." I have found pak sau to be a very effective bridging/ offensive move from previous fights and I advise that you should change your title ASAP because you seem to be having quite a large number of dislikes.

@Youmend I think your comment about syles mean no harm but the way it reads sounds sounds as if you believe there is one best style out there when there is never one best style. there is only practice.

some arrogant bitches think they know kung fu, and to be honest, not trying to offend anyone but wing chun is not the best style either so there is no chance even by knowing wing chun that you understand good fighting philosophy...

Pak sau works fine. As shown by you, I feel, that you are already too close. I teach my students to not let anyone get that close without hitting them. You are already in the striking range. besides, you are very fast. anyone who would let you get that close should be hit.(lol) Besides, he is a stance for sil, not a combat stance... In my humble opinion, his hands are misplaced in relation to front to back In distance and not guarding his centerline... This is NOT a criticism. Observ. only.
