Superedit back then in the early 2000's did the Bay colony railroad use the framingham subdivision to go back to attleboro? Or did they pass the cars to CSX from the Medfield junction?

the tracks havent been used in about a year. one of the locomotives has been sitting in medfield, near the water treament plant. and from what i heard the needham medfield line might be turned into a rail trail
-
@Superedit update - the b-boat landed in Florida on Seminole Gulf, the Geep is still in MA though hasn't been seen running in awhile.
-
It was sold to Grafton and Upton at GU 1500.

Shoot man cause the CF7 is my all time favorite locomotive. If they aren't gonna run, I'd love to. But I'm in California so that'd be a trip.
-
If you think those tracks were bad, you should go to Dartmouth, Bay Colony only other MA line. It is in so bad condition it is borderline illegal to run trains on them.

Did they ever use the CF7 at 6:33? And what has happened to that locomotive up until now?

The CF7 was used occasionally. I saw it running on the Cape trash train a few times. It was sold along with another BCLR Geep to the Grafton and Upton railroad here in Mass., and it's being repainted into their colors. It doesn't run as of now, but that could change!

Wow, I live nearby and had always just assumed these were dead tracks. Its amazing to see a train actually on them. Are they dead yet? Do they ride these tracks all the way back though Dover/Needham or do they get off at that crossing in Medfield?

BCLR used to service the Needham branch, but that line has been all but abandoned for years. The Millis branch is still running - at last report it was finally getting some new ties after a good-sized derailment last fall.
