Vinnie Colaiuta's "Slink" by Roger "Kemp" Biwandu 5tet

Vinnie is my friend, but also one of my main influence, a real God for me. So when I recorded my 1st album titled "Influences" (that you can check out on iTunes, etc...), I decided to record that theme that he wrote for his only one solo album titled "Vinnie Colaiuta".
I think that he wrote that song for Tony Williams, me I played that song for Vinnie, and he's been kind enough to send me some words about my work, so sweet from him :

"Rodge, you sound really good on the whole album, and what a cool arrangement of my theme "Slink", I liked it and I was really honored that you did that !"

I hope you'll enjoy my work on that song, it was fun to play it, and a real pleasure to sending my love and respect to Vinnie for the endless inspiration he gives to me.
