The lift was commissioned with the opening of the library. It was designed for large scale transportation. But up to now it still does not have a really high patronage.

When the outside call button is pressed, the propulsion motor startup sound is clearly audible. So is when starting up the lift with the inside floor button pressed.

Very fast leveling.  Stilling running strong.

During the first few years of service the landing door opened just before the car had stopped completely on levelling. Then adjustment was made to make the door open only after complete levelling.
