I love Naomi Wolf and have read many of her books, but these people sound really confused... How can you advocate democracy and the ideology of equal rights and religious freedom at the same time? Don't they realize that democracy is the antithesis of equal rights and religious freedom?
This is why our founders established a Republic, with the Bill of Rights- that establish democracy with the exception of religious freedom. To make sure that the majority could not enfringe upon those rights!
