I'm hungarian, too, and I thouth till now, that music is the only thing that doesn't know any borders...

I don't have any problems with Romanian people and the thoughts about Hungarian or Romanian history... Why we cannot simply hear that music??

The instrument is found worldwide - there is a version in Norway and one used to be played in the Solomon Islands.

The Csango have preserved it and devloped it more than any other people in Central Europe - of course they have tunes that come from other places (Ukraine, Russia, Austria, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria) but they do them in their own way.

If there's a living school of Romanian tilinko playing, let's see some links to it.

Intelelctual theft is just as much a crime as a violent one: similar in intention. You don't see Romanians on You Tube playing czardas and pretending it's "Romanian".We have more common sense and respect for ourselves to give credit to its country of origin, when we play czardas. Hun(garian)s however, keep stealing (plagiarizing) our doinas, horas, sarbas and jocs and pretend these are "Hungarian". You didn't get much farther from pappa Attila the Hun(garian)'s stealing habits! You're Pathetic!

If somebody steals my wallet and say:"Why can't we just enjoy this beautiful wallet?", my answer is: "I'll take it back then we'll talk." But intellectual theft, like the territorial theft of Transilvania by Huns (under Austrian and German "auspices",) is theft. Theft of a land with majority Romanian population, or its art (music, costumes, etc). Now, if this was credited by the fellow here as:Tilinca, a Romanian instrument and Hora a Romanian dance, it would have been a compliment, not theft.

Dear Romanian fellow, relax! The linguistics specialists couldn t decide, if the tilinko/tilincă is of HUNgarian (csango), or rather Romanian origin.

They say it must came from the Persians (tiling)... happy now?
