OMG, you woulda thought her audience was a bunch of vegans the way they were clutching their pearls and gasping knowing good and full well they prolly ate WAY worse things on the way TO the danggone show in the first place. *eye roll*

@notabadguy06 I make it the same way, but I use 1/2 stick of butter and 2% milk instead of half and half. I DO put half and half in mashed potatoes, but with mac and cheese, it's totally unneccesary, the cheese and butter provide plenty of richness... this recipe ist grease upon grease upon grease.
