I never said I opposed the ban from a smokers standpoint. I remember when the ban was imposed here originally, business owners were complaining b/c of decreased sales(mostly bars). My boss's son has a deadly allergy to peanuts. He cannot eat at steakhouses that allow peanut shells to be thrown on the floor. Is that not the same discrimination? Do we ban peanuts in restaurants? Still a business owners decision not yours.

@BucketPukes1969 sometimes it's unavoidable... like the person smokes near a bus stop.... where you are not supposed to smoke near the bus stop in the first place ... and there are many who are waiting for the bus at a tiny bus stop... smoking is bad for you period and its good that america is promoting and spreading smoking bans....

Follow behind a truck on any Interstate in slow traffic.That black diesel smoke that you're breathing contains nitrous oxide, hydrocarbons, nitromethanne, carbon monoxide and ozone among other things. Not only do these fumes poison our lungs, they poison the atmosphere. Why aren't these smoker vigilantes yelling for stricter mandates on the emissions of these trucks instead of harassing someone that's standing 10 feet away holding a cigarette?
