*** NOTE: The cracking sound when opening the case to flat position was only the hinges being popped out of the Crystal Armor. That sound did not come from the 3DS itself at all ****

I made this video just to show that the Legend of Zelda Crystal Armor does not tighten the hinge on the 3DS at all as some people think it does. While it may appear to tighten the hinge, it just restricts the movement in a design decision to allow easy removal of the case.
In fact, this case does not allow for the system to be opened fully to a flat position (where the screens are parallel) for games like Brain Age and any other games that ask that the system be be opened to the same position.
Please know that, when buying this case, it does not, in any way, tighten the hinge of the 3DS. It only makes it appear as though the 3DS's hinge is tighter and does restrict movement of the hinge for games like Brain Age.
wow, who even said that this case would magically tighten the hinge? What people like about the case is the fact that it doesn't wobble as much while it's on, thus giving it a tighter feel.

@ryanpalmer19 If you look in the description box, you'll see the video that this video is a response to where the person claims his hinge is actually tighter because of the Crystal Armor.

@nbts5n2 I honestly want to understand what you're saying, but I honestly don't. Unfortunately, that sentence makes no sense.
