Optical eye tracking methods for driving animations in realtime using QCIF camera placed on a Head Mounted Display require the use of robust curve detection techniques to deal with highly noisy and ambiguous data. In this system a unique Hough transform of eliptical primitives is used to detect the iris and eyelid states concurrently. The video shows the result of the detection technique before applying the tracking method.
