Why is a potentially horrible screeching sound so soothing to my ears?! especially at the end when it's loaded.
It used to disappoint me a little that the C64 didn't do it lol

The sound is typical for Spectrum computers. The first red-blue stripes indicate a leader with header containing information about loading of the next block. Yellow-blue stripes indicate loading in progress. As you can see, loading of the picture is visible. The picture is being loaded directly to Spectrum's video RAM area. You can see that its addressing is chaotic. Sounds are typical for all Spectrum software. One can recognize a picture loading by ear.

How did you do that? was it an actual image just read by the spectrum or did you drae it and save it.

It is hand drawn in OCP Art Studio. Working stages are here: factor6(dot)ic(dot)cz(slash)924zx(dot)html.

@factor6 get the iphone app called zx cam
it makes any picture readable by the spectrum and it even makes the tape sounds for it so you can put the iphone right into the spectrum
