The panzers had already been mauled trying to take Dunkirk, that is the reason for the decision to allow the Luftwaffe to attack.

The US was divided on WWII.. a lot of the Republican party was friendly to if not overtly pro-Nazi

@VlaanderenVrijI'm guessing you're Finnish? If so, you fought because the Russians invaded you didn't you? Finland did indeed, fight bravely, but it's unfortunate that you sully that memory by puttinh them in the same sentence as the Germans, who murdered millions of jew, gypsies, gays, mentally ill and handicapped people for no reason at all, and most Finns would feel the same way as I do. For whatever reason, being allied to Nazi Germany was nothing to be proud of.

@jackHNv Well, at least the Germans fought communism ... This can't be said of the UK or the USA who actually helped the Societ Union conquering large parts of Europe. Until today these countries still suffer from Socialist dictatorship. I'm proud my family fought and died in the fields of Russia. And no, I'm not German.

@lassisvugaris: I spotted identical fragments in different episodes of this Battlefront series. I think I saw the same shot of the same British machinegunner in both Crete and Dunkirk.

Interesting, but some parts are clearly made made later in the war. Some british soldiers are wearing the mk.3 helmet and PIATs. There is even part of a

Sherman showing. And in one scene you can see SdKfz 251 Ds and germans wearing camouflage smocks and helmet-covers. Could be SS, but not likely.
