My cool old cat, Emma

The end of last year my old cat came down with bad kidneys, then she had a stoke.
I thought it was all over. She couldn't walk and I had to help her around.

In the video 3 of my girls are sitting in front of a sun lamp. (Emma loves the sun) Emma laid in front of it a lot for a couple weeks. It was really cool how the other cats were very supportive. Pearl would even sit right next to Emma and place her paws on her.
With patients and care Emma has gained her ability to walk again.

Then about 2 months ago, her blood work was so bad that the vet thought she only had a week to live. So I gave up trying to get her to eat KD and I just let her eat what ever she likes. She has a heat pad that she sleeps on all the time.
Since she can't run, I take her outside on nice days, but she is so barn sour, she just wants right back in. She is doing great and seems like she has gained some weight.

I'm glad that she is still around after 19 years.

As of today April 10, Emmma is still doing great.
Emma passed away in May of 2008.
It's hard , I miss her attention

I used to own three cats. Brandi, Lily, and Topaz. Lily died this year, 2011 on March 31. I still have Topaz and Brandi. Brandi has reached her 15th birthday! So, yeah. And I don't exactly know Lily's death cause.

I have had to put my pets to sleep when they became ill. I have no money for treatment. The cats all three died at age seven from kidneys and one from heart. My dog had a seizure and I had to put her to sleep even though she seemed fine after. I could take the stress waiting for them to die naturally. Their pain was also too hard to take.

Sorry for your loss, my ladyfriend had a cat she brought from Japan to Nova Scotia with her, he was a real good gentle cat, he passed away back in March, the poor old doll, hope you are recuperating and always remember her.

Oh i'm so sorry for you--that must have been a great loss for you!!But you must remember one thing please that you made puss Emma so happy & did all you ever could have done for her.
