for more info please visit http://ted--haggard.com - Ted Haggard and his apology at Who's to Judge. I was blown away the first time I watched this movie. I really feel bad for Pastor Ted Haggard's family. I just feel like he deserves a bit more grace.

  • How can a church 'force' anyone to leave a state? What happened to 'land of the free'? It's madness! Talk about having too much power!

  • was he a pitcher or catcher?

  • Its wonderful to see a church actually behave and follow the example of Jesus. You know, that whole forgiveness thing ? Im not speaking to unbelievers, im speaking to those who identify themselves as christians. If you say Ted Haggard should not be redeemed, then you think that YOU should not be redeemed either.

  • A remarkable testimony.

  • @CounterCultureLives Maybe that's the problem. Ted Haggard and New Life Church simply don't care what people think when they tell them a god doesn't exist. Because this country affords them the freedom to do so. You see with freedom comes responsibility, and with responsiblity comes being honest. When you believe in a god that does not exist, and convince people they can come back to life after they die, and make people feel guilty for 'original sin' - is that honest? But hey, you don't care.

  • @Water4Jeremiah "Admit defeat"?? Dude, get over yourself. You've obviously mistaken me for someone who gives a rat's ass about what you think.

    Goodbye.

  • @CounterCultureLives It's ok to admit defeat. I accept your surrender. After all, since god doesn't exist you might as well surrender to a human being that actually exists, yeah? And I won't even ask for 10% of your paycheck like Ted Haggard would. :-)

  • @Water4Jeremiah You're warped!! Call it what you will; "sin", or acts of malevolence, or whatever you choose to call it. You're a pathetic human being.

    I'm done with you.

  • @CounterCultureLives It doesn't matter if your a sexual abuse survivor, non-Christian, or Jesus Christ himself. I simply don't feel sorry for you. You are the one responsible. Because you keep using your parents' experience as a crutch to make you feel justified. The concept of 'sin' doesn't really matter because god doesn't exist. Saying I'm 'overlooking my own sin' is just what powerful Christians do to weakminded Christians to give them a guilt-trip. Did you even read write I wrote?

  • @Water4Jeremiah It's not my place to forgive Ted Haggard, or to withhold forgiveness. I'm not the one he trespassed. Speaking as a sexual abuse survivor and as a Non-Christian, my thoughts on forgiveness are outside the mainstream.

Have I ever forgiven my parents for what they did to me?? No!! Why?? Because they've never confessed their crimes, or sought forgiveness.

Having said that, it's easy to scorn the sins of others, while overlooking our own.
