Field eXpedients: MWG 90-Rounder Drum Carry dynmicpara

MWG's 90-rounder is a drum for the M16/M4 assault rifle/carbine that could conceivably create a real Automatic Rifle capability far lighter than the belt-fed 15+ pound M249 Light Machine Gun "SAW" which doesn't reliably feed from 30-round magazines despite its loading feature for this.

Every Soldier should carry a MWG 90-rounder drum in his M16/M4 in order to start combat with 90 rounds of 5.56mm available in order to initially dominate a firefight with aimed fire superiority with volume that would be otherwise hindered if 30-round magazines had to be switched when emptied. The first seconds are critical at deciding who is pinned down and who can fire & move. The 90-Rounder in a SKEDCO Assault Pack carries all its necessary loading devices securely by gutted 550 "dummy cord" (remove the 7 white inner strands) and enables it to be instantly clipped to the Load Bearing Equipment (LBE) by pull-carry loop and/or snaplink/carabiner when emptied and ammunition supply is switched to 30-round magazines for sustained fire.
