Taking The Walk - Olympia '08

On November 8th 2008, 24 people (and a dog) took a one mile walk through the damp streets of Olympia to raise awareness for poverty and AIDS in South Africa.

Thanks to Emilee for all of the hard work she put into the event, from ads in a newspaper to a radio interview to putting up fliers and even arranging for Washington state's govenor's HIV/AIDS spokesperson to join us and give a speech on the govenor's behalf!
