the third reich were stupid, they tried to take on everyone at the same time, they could've easily defeated either brittain, russia, france, USA, but not all at the same time, but even fighting everyone at the same time they lasted a while, thats a worthy opponent, not like the middle eastern countries we're attacking nowadays, germany was a worthy opponent

@cheovl9: That's not entirely true. The British (Commonwealth) and the French declared war on Nazi-Germany when they attacked Poland with the help of Slovakia.

Only France and Britain had any formal agreements signed that would have caused them to go to war if Germany attacked (and it was over Poland which eventually led to the start of WW2). The USA and the Soviet Union (Russia) had no agreements, infact the Soviet Union had a Treaty with Germany at the time over the division of Poland. The Germans could have taken out each country one at a time with more success.

With Hitler in power, the third reich invaded Poland, to take back the land that was taken from germany with the versai treaty. Immediately with the actions necessary, germany offered france and gb peace treaties, but they declared war.

@cheovl9 Actually they started off only against one enemy. America refused to fight also Russia. The Russians came in after Hitler touched the Slavic areas (Ukraine mostly). Britian fought, Australia, Canada and the rest of the Commonwealth. If it wasn't for the Russians, America would of been in a LOT more strife, same goes for the Commonwealth.
