Why was Vivien Leigh not nominated for her last Oscar for this film? They could've given her a Supporting Actress nod at least for this piece of work.

@Bpothik YES!!- and Vivien hate any kind of racism and she has problems in South Africa in 1962 cause the Appartheid. Maybe this line was something Vivien felt by heard. When she did GWTW, she and Hattie Mc Daniel were so close, that till the end of her life..Vivien spoke of Mc Daniel as "Dear Hattie". I love Vivien for this, and for SOOOOOO many things!!. Carlos

@karenofbethany Do u know that when Vivien went to Columbia, for film her first scene..Kramer was shocked!!-also the producer, cause Vivien seems to be 35 years old, so..they put, her, heavy makeup and false wrinkles. Kramer..when Vivien first enter to the set..told her:"Vivien, u are gonna play a 46 years old woman..u seems to be 35!!", so Vivien reply was:"let me, u will see". And she painted her face, put a wig..etc. She was one of a kind!!. Carlos

Miss Leigh won the Best Acress award in France for this film. She should be nominated for an Oscar. This film is a classic because of her. She catch our attention each time she is in screen. Kramer, the director, admires ,her, so much, and EVERY one of the other stars wanna make a scene with Vivien!!. (Kramer said). Wonderful video...wonderful Vivien!!. Wonderful reigeiro!!. Carlos

Thank you. And Thank you also for your Videos, They Are so beautiful. I love Viv and the interpretation of her in " Ship of Fools " is a lesson of Performance and of Entirety. I am An Actress and have learned much of Vivien. I adore to cross with people who Values her to her so much.
