magus is range maruder is melee so maruder you will need to move a bit faster on were as the magus will be able to pick and choose targets with alittle more ease with 100 yrd range on some of there spells magus come under focus less often but maruders get to get right up in the healers face in open beta maruder was better dps dont know if this will change or is intended

I love magus. You can summons cool demons to help in combat and you don't have to walk ever cause of that floating disc. =D

hey NZV im stuck in a decision that i have been wanting since i saw the warhammer magic classes. should i be a magus or sorc. The only thing is i hear that the magus arent very strong at all but the sorc can backlash and hurt itself. I just want a magic class that does great dmg and can kill shit it PVP! lol

Magi are pretty weak at the moment, but they're being fixed currently. Just decide what kinda playstyle you want. Sorc is all about damage, and lots of it. But if you get a melee class on you, kiss your ass goodbye. At lower levels (like this vid) the Magus is just a crappy Sorc, but later on your role is completely different and you can effect the battle in less obvious ways than damage. Debuffs, knockbacks, finishing wounded people off, etc.

I play at 1024x768.
Game was on the highest available settings other than having no AA.

Is the pet completely inactive til you order it to attack some target?
just that i noticed that you pet did'nt do anything even after you had been attacked.

They're just buggy right now. Even if you do order them to attack something they don't most of the time. By default they're supposed to attack anything that attacks you, and you can set them to attack anything in sight. I only summoned them because I kinda wanted to show them off in the video, but unfortunately they did nothing.
