guragigna song doesn't get any better than this. One of the oldest, most authentic and original songs. I would go to the end of the earth to watch Argaw Bedaso. Thank you for bringing him to me. He is a Legend!!! I hope some one out there is preserving his songs. Thanks for sharing. I want more.

You might look at the men's feet at about 1:30. Looks like Micheal Jackson might have ripped off the Moon Walk step from the Gurage, but did it with a little less energy.

Fantastic dancers and very interesting music. I thought I had seen about what East Africa had to offer, but the Gurage are a whole different experience. I assume that that stringed instrument is also called a krar in their culture. I never heard one in a bass register before. Interesting sound.
