What happened...
Galaxia being killing all the Senshi. So Pluto stopped time to save who was left. However, when Pluto's power and Galaxia's mixed, time split! And Hotaru and Chibiusa were sent back in time to the Edo Era. Here, they witness Nezumi Kid in action.

It actually sounds like everyone is saying "This is a pen" instead. That phrase is something that is taught to Japanese who are beginning to learn English. Don't you love how the Mexican guy says random English phrases instead of Spanish ones? :P

The SeraMyu performances are my favorites of the Musicals.

Currently I have Musicals 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 (SuperS Kaiteiban), 1997 (Stars Kaiteiban), 1998 (Kaiteiban)

If you want a song or clip from those Musicals, comment me and let me know! I'll upload it as soon as I can

  • This scene is hilarious. This is probably a play on jidaigeki, or Japanese TV period dramas (which are typically set during the Edo period).

There's also a sort of inside joke in here, I think - the "narrator" says the village girl "was also in the summer show," which may be a SeraMyu-related reference (since Stars K was the winter show).

"This is a pen"...I remember the "this is a pen" thing in Tokyo Mew Mew when Ichigo tries to speak English.

  • It's a common phrase taught when learning a new language. The only thing I remember from French is "c'est une stylo" lol

  • aren't the other three ninjas Rei, Makoto, and Minako?

  • Yeah they are

  • I surrender!

  • I loved Anza as Sailor Moon, Mao as ChibiUsa and the girl who plays Hotaru! I love them! I wish they would make one more musical

  • reminds me of power rangers

  • setsuna...XD!

  • Aw, Mao made such a kawaii Chibiusa!

    <3

  • I heard Oro! XD!

  • Yeah I suppose so. But I distinctly remember hearing it in Tokyo Mew Mew episode 6, where an English-speaking character comes, and Ichigo tries to speak English to her, but all she can say in English is "this is a pen."

I find it amusing though that Ryuuji-san's character just uses random English words, like saying "is this" at the end of sentences.

Apparently, this was a myu that had had a lot of adlibs in it, because the magistrate rules that no one can adlib anymore.

  • Yeah that's true...but they ended up stuck with the Three Lights somewhere else (which you can see if you watch the rest of the musical after this).
