2. Soft Coral @ Sogod Bay, Ph (Lumix TZ7/ZS3 - AVCHD)

There is major amount of soft coral at this site due to regeneration from an attack of the crown of thorns 3 yrs ago...

Settings:
Underwater Mode
16:9
AVCHD Lite
SH
CAf
1-AREA HIGH FOCUS
Auto Stabiliser

1) SDHC - Ultra 2 Class 4 (16Gb) works well at depth !

2) muvee Reveal is awesome for creating mts/WMV-HD videos. (needs some bugs fixed for 24-5fps though)

Those files are imported from I:\PRIVATE\AVCHD\BDMV\STREAM

3) Bought the u/w case from amazon japan.

There isn't much settings for underwater mode though i did find it worked better than iA. (iA works better for photo night dives!)

Also zooming focus can be a problem beyond 0.5m - infinity . Macro like nudibranchs , is best to stick to even less zoom or none.

nope though your idea of magic filter sounds great ! maybe i should give it a go but i find the underwater mode seems fine..

tol whats up with that beeping sound on the back ground??? i have the same problem wid my lumix ts1.... do you know how to fix that???

Actually, after looking again it could use a bit mor red as the anthias look a bit washed out. The yellows are great. Great sound too . You can even hear a pop as the parrot fish bites off a chunk of coral or rock!

this is my 2nd vid shot so i was still playing around with the settings...maybe i went a bit too fast..getting better as you can see in my manta (No4.) . But really i havent done much..the camera is mostly automatic.. Am sure the colours can be enhanced during the video editng process thru Sony Vegas 9..though i would have preferred PANY add vivid colour to their firmware...pl subscribe sto my channel :-p
