The annual WITS spring luncheon was a smashing success. The South Shore Drill Team amazed guests with their unique marching style and procession, while our own Smyth School students educated the crowd on their definition of the "Power of Reading". Newly appointed President of the Chicago Board of Education, Mary Richardson-Lowry, gave an incredible address as this year's keynote speaker. A big thank you to all our guests and principal sponsor, Charter One. Proceeds from this year's event benefited the programs and services of WITS.
