  • @idiotfieldmouse Neon=Fail

  • @idiotfieldmouse ....as well as Ferrari but nobodys complaining.

  • Heh?

  • @down4ce Allow me to correct that for you.

Torque + Poor Suspension + Cheap Tires = Fail

  • @idiotfieldmouse Torque+FWD=Fail.

  • @MyOpinionMatterss Recalls that were not their fault, if you're referring to the pedals. A study by NASA confirmed there were NO faults in Toyota's electronic system, meaning the pedals were faulty because they were made incorrectly at the manufacturer, which was some unknown small business in the midwest U.S somewhere I think. The same company also made pedals for Mitsubishi and a few other automakers. But the study took Toyota off the hook, and yes their technology is better anyways.

  • @sleepisyummy You mentioned Toyota...with over 2 million recalls last year?

  • OHHH ROASTED @ 1:52

  • @idiotfieldmouse American cars are YEARS behind the Japanese in reliability. Toyota, Honda, and Nissan are still the most reliable cars out there. Reliability is how many problems a car has per year. You can look it up online. Initial quality is in no way comparable to reliability. Gas mileage doesn't make a car reliable. How long it lasts on general maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, tranny fluid changes, etc.) is what makes a car reliable. In that area, the Japanese are still the best.

  • @sleepisyummy It's true there are plenty of cars for us, I'm just saying it's sad to see two companies that used to have so much enthusiasm and racing heritage and love for the driver simply give up to make cookie cutter cars for the masses. I understand, it's a business, but sell outs won't get any respect from me. As for American cars being unreliable...where's the proof on that? Maybe 8-10 years ago that was 100% true...but these days...reliability is pretty much a level playing field.
