If the entire middle is going to be covered up anyway, wouldn't it have been easier to just do a dollop of the glue (whatever it's called) in the center to save time and then just do the uniform edges? Just a thought, because all the time that went into neatness of the icing ends up being wasted if it just gets smushed by the giant icecream that completely covers what it looks like on the bottom XD
