From Jan. 18, 1994, here is a news story from WJW, Ch. 8 in Cleveland, about the extreme cold and blizzard conditions in Northeastern Ohio! This is part 2 of 3.
I remeber this night very well I was DJ ing at a bar on Madison and I lived in Brooklyn. My car broke down right in front of the Brooklyn PD and the cop who came out reluctantly to "assist" me, couldn't give me a jump start so I could make the last 2 miles home. I had to walk 1/2 mile to a pay phone and call a buddy and wait 45 minutes to get a jump. So much for protect and serve.
i remember it as a sixth grader. when andre bernier said the current temperature was -20, i said no i'm not going outside the apartment building i don't want to get frostbitten.

I remember this too. The morning after this broadcast was my birthday. School was closed all week.
