CHECK OUT MY VIDEO RESPONSE WHERE I USED A MUCH MORE EFFICIENT SOLUTION!!!!!!

This is just a quick easy and free solution for My Mac Mini which will help reduces any noise transfer like noise from the superdrive while it's in action, noise transfer from the EXT drive I have stacked atop the Mini. It also helps the Mini Grip the desktop as bare smooth plastic and a smooth wood surface is just slippery.

I could use those little sticky pad which I may get later but they need to bee small enough in order to not increase the height as I want everything to fit under my Monitor stand.

  • Anyone out there who wants to do something similar, disregard the solution I used here and check out my updated ( Video Response ) over this where I used a more proper solution.

  • you should just go with rubber spacers but your ways still cool but you should trim it better

  • @zsxwrsd

I thought about it so it create airflow under the Mini which is a +. I need to get some rubber mounts for the stand too so the slightly elevated Mini can still fit under the monitor stand along with everything else stacked above it. Now, it's just hairs away from not fitting.

This is just a temp fix. I'll post a vid with a revised fix.

But really it's dumb of Apple not doing this from the get go. I left feedback about it. They've always did something under everything else

  • @pokeeto2 i can check if i have any i use to have the perfect size and spaped ones and if i still do i can send them to your PO box like im not gunna do anything if i knew your address but still you never know and if you dont have one then ill look around when im in a store and tell you places that could have them

  • @zsxwrsd

Thanx really!! But U don't have to do that.

I've got lots of stores minutes from where I live. I just always forget to check.

I'll put a sticky notes all over to remember LOL.

Maybe multiple peel off rubber stickies the size of a ladybug or really flat ones the size of a dime. All around the perimeter and in the center for even weight and stance.

  • @pokeeto2 i can like really how much could it cost to send them just send me a message saying what you need and your PO box bcz i use a PO box so we wont be saying were we live rly so its close to the safest way to and its no problem to me i send people stuff all the time like an empy monster energy can they dont have in their collection

  • @zsxwrsd

Actually, thanx to u, it came to me to check under an old 15y/o compaq keyboard I still had around. It had 5 rubber strips underneath. I pried them off and put them under the Mini. 15 years and they still stuck on perfectly. Now it should run cooler too.

I'm editing the vid now so a new vid should be up within an hour.
