  • Leroy did sing lead in the original (falsetto parts)songs, but his voice got raspy over the years, good thing Stuart can still sing falsetto and the lead can shift within the group and they can still sing their classics

  • I used a "flip" to record the event,.. so I recorded snippets of each song, so I wouldn't run out of memory

  • Professionals! Love these guys!!!

  • They still sound good

  • @MultiplicityMe The perform in the Inlet next to sea wall and the old Gardwood Mills.

  • I didn't know Stuart could sing falsetto cause back in the day Leroy did all the leads. I glad to see they're still singing.

  • Glad they are still around. Hmmmm....wonder if they still have a website. I can find out when they come to Philadelphia or Raleigh.

  • nice.. I wish you had caught it from the begining

  • I can't even count how many times I played this video.

Never heard of them, and I am a freak for music, this song MAKES me wanna go out and look for love. This will melt hearts, and I will never figure out why these guys weren't promoted properly. I did my research.

  • When I first saw this footage I thought Black Ivory was lip syncing the song because Leroy had that Eddie Kendricks-like, silky falsetto and sang those parts back in the 70's but when I took a second look at it it was Stuart singing and sounding superb. I'm grateful that they still sound as great and not missing a beat! An underrated group without question.

  • Real Nice One! Thanks for posting this.

  • @Taoheart Hmmmm...looks like the inlet from the background...hard to tell though... wouldn't have mind sitting up at the Seawall...while listening :-)
