Thanks so much for this killer post! I've been reading Keith's autobio (along with all the other Stones fans) and trying to get a better feel for his and Mick's respective solo work. This was a sharp performance of a very good song. I think most of the songs on this album were strong, and Mick's vocals perfect, but I don't care for the instrumental production; I think the material suffered from the "big 80's" studio style. But I give him credit for exploring new avenues, & so should Keith.
