@greatgazu Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath were out long before people knew what hard rock-heavy metal - doom metal was.Guns n Roses are far more closer to Rock n Roll rather than Soundgarden imho.

@greatgazu Very true... These guys were pure rock... Superunknown touched on the 'Grunge' chaos of the 90's, but they never really embraced it... thank god... awesome video, awesome band, awesome song... pure rock...

@greatgazu Soundgarden were around before, sure. But they got famous to some amount outside the undergrounds in 89' when they released "Louder Than Love". This song was released with "Badmotorfinger" in 91', they were the first ever "grunge" band to sign a label. Trust me. Everyone knew what grunge was. Not saying they are full-out grunge,they are way too heavy for that. But their dirty sound is borrowed from the underground seattle-grunge scene. They are not Rock, they are metal if anything.

i dont see soundgarden as grunge, i think bands like the pumpkins were more grunge. as much as i like bands like the pumpkins this band blows them out the fucking water! one of my best friends was obssessd with the pumpkins but compared to soundgarden theyre just pussys!

@morbidcannibal1 People label them as grunge because they were apart of the whole Seattle scene. To be honest, I hate the term grunge (Nirvana is my favorite band though). In my opinion we should just call it alternative. As for your comment, I think we should all just share the music lest we allow the Justin biebers and Miley Cyrus' to keep going.
