TR means Transformation and Reconstruction.
This technique differs significantly from the conventional pattern making theory.

In this segment I am demonstrating how to transform a set in sleeve to a raglan sleeve by TR technique.
First of all,I am drawing a raglan line onto the front of set in sleeve and the back of one as well.
Second of all, altering shoulder point to 0.7cm toward front body then drawing down to the sleeve hem vertically along the grainline so that the dropping of the sleeve will be seem quite straight down well.

After doing the altered lines accurately and added notches, you are going to dismantle a sleeve cutting out along the raglan lines.

However as you can see,the pattern pieces of raglan sleeve are not appeared as it should be rather flat.
Because this is the ease in volume that is required to shoulder momentum.

Cutting into the volume in order to flatten off that means the amount of momentum is transfered to the shoulder line.

Transfering a new raglan sleeves on to the fabric accurately with the seam allowances and the notches, now you will be ready to do assembling the raglan sleeve and it will be maintained exactry same fit and confort.

That is the way how to transform a sleeves onto the base shape precisely ,easily and promptly
