Therapy on my dog after his 3rd back surgery for ruptured disc. See his website for detail instructions on how to do these exercises.

Lucas has been paralyzed 4 different times and he has had 3 back surgeries, I have done all his physical therapy on him and was able to walk each time. No, I am not a licensed canine physical therapist although I have been taught by the best.

First surgery he had stage 5 paralysis, he took his first steps after 2 weeks. Second surgery he had stage 3 paralysis, it took 1 day for his first steps. Third surgery, stage 4 paralysis, took 1 week. Recovery and walking all depends on how fast you got your dog into surgery after the first signs of paralysis. The sooner you get your dog into surgery the better the outcome!!! There is no 'wait and see' with IVDD.

Yes he is walking normal now. You would never be able to tell he had 3 back surgery's. I'll post a new video on how hes walking in the near future.

how long did it take him to start moving his legs..i also have a paraplegic Cavalier KCS,he has reflexes,controls his blooder,and his legs shake...but he still doesn't wakl
