Lets Get Lofi 3 - Casiotone 1000p through Akai HX-M11 Tape Deck

Please forgive my ropey playing on this one, I was getting tired by this point. The plan was to show how nice tape saturations sounds even on an ordinary tape deck but after recording the playback of the tape into my computer I couldn't sync it to the video. Arrghh! So I settled for the raw overloaded inputs of the Akai instead.

Is the 1000p lofi? I think so. I think of it more as an organ with some synthesis functions than a real synth. Plus mine was only £10 from a carboot sale again. The Akai HX-M11 is a great tape deck and usually lives in my stereo but gets dragged out for things like this. I picked it up for £5 years ago. I'm controlling the volume of the 1000p with a pedal and therefore the ammount of distortion which is a nice effect.
