This video is part 1 of my series of reversing the album "Geogaddi" by Boards of Canada, released in 2002. The record features numerous instances of backmasking and I aspire to figure out what they are. I already know a few and have shown them in this video, but trust me, there are FAR more.

Tracks in this segment:
Corsair
You Could Feel The Sky.

Magic Window was excluded due to being 1:46 of silence.

If you come up with something I missed in any of these videos, TELL ME VIA COMMENT/VIDEO RESPONSE. I'd love to know, and will annotate the missing information and credit you for it :D

  • Whats the point of Magic Window?

  • @ninfan98 The album with the track included is precisely 66:06 in length. That's why. It's supposed to convey a message--this album is cultist and "evil". Though both of them consider themselves atheist/agnostic, they wanted to be as distinct as possible in laying a sinister foundation. It makes more sense than having an extra track that "happens" to make it that length. They wanted to be as obvious and disturbing as possible, just like the album itself. Absolutely fucking genius, however.

  • i believed this track is called corsair

  • @ninfan98 while i'm pretty sure it was just to make the album 66:06 long.. magic windows is actually a certain type of sound that we can't hear. just google "magic windows sound wavelengths"

  • @Notirez

I know! everytime I listen to Magic Window, not only do I get it stuck in my head - but it will literally keep playing on my computer even though it's switched off! creepy but genious.

  • what a personal music

  • @ninfan98 Audacity. It's freeware. I'm not sure if that's what he used, but it will do it great.

  • @DDRpwnerer no, it was actually used as a joke to scare listeners.

  • wow this is beatiful

  • Wow "God with Horns, God with Hooves"

The Devil?. Feck. That's f@cked up. Sounds awesome, but f@cked up lol.

  • Even backwards this sounds just as beautiful and evocative.
