In reality what is he going to do? I mean really... A sport can accelerate so quickly a patrol car just can't hold up. Some states yes they will chase. Actually it's not the ground units we need to worry about. Without a very nice and relatively straite enterstate, a helicopter can pose a very real threat. Mainly cause you don't know they are there. Thus, when your safe or not. I've heard of alot of busts because of that.
