First we select the Airbrush Pen opacity Flow brush as a base. It is a flat round default brush.
You see in the video that at larger brush size this brush leaves a trail of circles, also smooth blending with this brush is rather hard.

Do not change the brush size; leave it at 19 px diameter for now.

Open the brush properties settings and select Brush Tip Shape
Set the Hardness to 30%
Then select Shape Dynamics and set the Minimum Diameter to 100% (this is optional, in order to maintain brush size without changing it by pen pressure)
Select the option Dual brush and click on the Hard Round 15 brush.
The 15 px diameter of this brush will crop the soft edge of your modified Airbrush Pen opacity Flow brush. Leave it like this.

Now you have a smooth round flat with a semi hard edge. I paint most of my images with this brush.
Do not forget to save your new brush.

*(in the lower part of the brush setting menu is a small icon, you can click and save your brush using this button)
