I'm a programmer - here's my input. Poker sites all tell you they will never share your email address before you sign up. Try this. Sign up for a site you've never used before from an email address you've never used before. Wait one week. Notice how you're now getting casino junk? That's because an employee of the poker site has harvested your email address. If employees can do that, isn't it likely that someone higher up is doing similar things and looking at your hole cards as you play?
