the kids i nme still likes this, the adult asks, if its a tree farm, why didnt they plant more trees, why wasn't christ picked when he was still an average sized tree, why are they so happy to be killed and how do the trees know about christmas anyway?

Thanks for this. My sons video which gets watched over and over every christmas is getting veeeerrrryy stretched. They never released it on DVD for europe. He says there 's about 5 mins missing so I guess your source had it slightly edited to the VHS version. This is such a sweet film.
