@bradye21 to CRT tv's maybe, but my friend has a 42" TV (overkill, I know, but it is so great watching that thing xD) and the wii definitely outputs a higher than 1080p res (for the menu that is.) for games you may be right, but it does look clear enough from memory. of course memory is not very reliable with something like this I agree but I'm just not so sure it's 480p gameplay, that's all
