http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=323321 - During a junior varsity football game between Elgin and Lake Park high schools, Elgin would sometimes put in a player who lined up far off the line of scrimmage. Lake Park coach Nana Agyeman noticed this, and during halftime, he talked to Elgin's head coach, Dave Bierman, about it. He learned the player, Winfred Cooper, has severe autism.

  • @XL1211 This child definitely could be mildly autistic, I am not saying NO child with autism has the ability to do this. I am saying that, as of yet, no severely autistic child I know has the ability to do this. But this isn't the kind of thing you would expect to happen to a high functioning adolescent, the video represents him as low functioning. I am sorry if I caused any misunderstandings.

  • @soraroxesventerra it is thought that albert einstein was autistic. Many of our geniuses were autistic. But they were high functioning.

  • @crazyelephantofdoom I don't know what kids you have been around but my son is 3 diagnosed with MILD AUTISM, and he has the capability to answer more than yes/no questions. Plus he loves playing basketball, soccor etc.

  • @DCgolf013

Well if it was all just an act think how the kid would feel. Better to win fairly than cheating

  • @gotrunksftw his name is Dan Morono

  • I don't think this person has severe autism. Moderate autism at most. I know no autistic students that are in sports teams that are not mild (and I go to a specialist school). Also, of the severly autistic students that have the ability to talk, I have never heard any say anything as complex and structured as this. Most have difficulty in anything other than yes/no questions.

  • so some autistic kids are smart...? at my school we had an autistic running back and he scored a few touch downs real ones too.

  • @noobhealz402 go to hell you peice of shit

  • fuck u.. racist redneck!!!
