  • If you look at the tigerfoam web site there is tons of info. I spent many hours studying/ planning. As I recall, 1" will do about 600 sq'.

I sprayed about 1000 sq' under the house, a metal garage door, and some uninsulated ceiling in the garage with two kits. I was able to get about $200 refund on my fed taxes. I planed my attack and it went pretty fast. About an hour under the house, with a few breaks.

  • It's cheaper to do fiberglass bats, but I can't stand fiberglass on my skin. Also, I liked the structural, fire, and vapor barriers of the foam. Plus it was a blast to spray on. It is damn messy, and if you stop spraying for more than 30 seconds you must replace the spray tip. You must heat the bottles to about 85 degrees, or leave in sun for a day.

  • Scott,

I haven't done slow rise closed cavity, but did buy several fast rise kits from Tigerfoam(dot)com
