How do you juggle being a documentary filmmaker and a mom?

As a mother of two and a successful documentary filmmaker, Lauren Greenfield knows what it's like to juggle. Sometimes her husband even works with her, which brings up the question of where childcare comes from. What does it mean to have a working mother? How do the children feel about Mom not being the primary caregiver? As a woman, how do you make enough money to even cover the cost of that necessary childcare? Greenfield understands the challenges this presents as a modern working woman and mother, and she addresses these questions at the Doc U: Women Behind the Camera panel, a recent co-presentation of IDA and Women in Film.
