What a wonderful gift Jacques Tati gave to the world in these buoyant, witty comedies. Satire without a speck of mean spirit. His films always lift my heart.

A worthwhile endeavor. Tati spent as much time editing the sound on his films as he did the visuals. (I first saw this movie as part of a film class in the mid-70s...)

oh cmon it doesnt make u understand more at all as there is no dialogues. There is only pure thought in an universal lanugage, not french nor english

perfect picture of a brainwashed plastic society and ppl living in the cities showed in very sarcastic way
