@wiccaman69 I appreciate your difficulty. With ADHD, my brain is not wired like that of an organized mind. Perhaps basketmasternancy would be a better choice for learning how to make baskets!

You pick your willow when the growing season is over. Even if you don't like the shoots you had, cut them so next years will grow straight.

Soak it till they're pliable. It could be an hour or a week, depending on the dryness of the shoots. Green shoots can be used right away, but they will shrink.
