whatever happened to Ken's roll and kick moves? They even took away his ariel throw. I really thought he was going to be fast and versatile. A whole different creature than Ryu, but I think capcom is trying to suppress his fan attraction. I remember in SF2 you could spin kick a guy twice then snatch em in a knee bash grab. With every game, he loses more of what he had before, but the players still find a way to tear up the screen with him. Capcom can't keep him down.

Chinta was probably one of the most underrated Ken players of his time. Every match I've seen him in has always been consistently good.

wow ken was awesome this match!

@ThouShallParry I play Rose in SSFIV and every Alpha game (she's pretty good in Alpha 2 though), along with Cody in all of those, and Ken in 3rd Strike. And I'm no scrub. So what does that make me? Some characters usually end up "better" than others, but if you lose to a Ken player (ESPECIALLY if you know you are a better player) and then just say "Oh, I lost because he plays Ken," then you are the scrub.
I don't like that word though. It's elitist...Let's just try to help people get better.

theyre in the game because theyre SF's icon. theyre the face of SF, and in a game where 90% of the cast is new, they HAD to be put in the game. just because you dont like them, or get trashed around by them doesnt mean you can automatically negate their existence. Low tier is for people who want a challenge and to surprise there opponents. i have a better time beating a good Ken then a good Q because i know the match-up better. theyre in the game for a reason...deal with it

@Chaldean4life91 They're put in the game so scrubs can win...Period. So why dont you and everyone else who relies on the greatest chars. in the game just to...WIN...stop being scrubs and MAN THE FUCK UP! Low tier is for ppl who prefer a challenge and are always better bcuz they can win with the worst chars. in the game. Its not that hard to wrap your head around it but like they say...You can lead a scrub to water, but can't make him Think...

real chars? theyre put in the game for a reason. Ken has his advantages and disadvantages as does every character. dont be a scrub.

Anti airs aren't too bad, you just have to learn not to jump around like an idiot. Pick your jump ins carefully and don't just jump forward all the time. Bait your opponent into whiffing AA by jumping straight up, being sure your out of range, then punish. Projectile spamming can be overcome as well you just need to develop proper technique, take advantage of moves with Invincibility or Armor.
